Ursula vs. The wolf

On September 1, 2022 a hungry wolf used the cover of darkness to sneak into a well-guarded
compound in northwest Germany and kill Dolly, the 30-year-old pony belonging to
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

Identified as GW950m, the wolf is now on a kill list. The current death warrant on its head expires on January 31.

Will he manage to outplay the hunters?

Is the wolf still alive?

Yes, he’s still out there, roamin’ free. (As far as we currently know.)

Eight wolves have been recorded as having been found dead in Germany this year, according to the Federal Documentation and Advice Center on Wolves.

Seven are reported as having been killed in traffic accidents and one apparently died of natural causes. GW950m is not listed among them.
